Dr. Heather Flores

Dr. Flores earned her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from La Salle University in Philadelphia, PA in 2007. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship specializing in the treatment of PTSD and trauma at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. She has specialized in the assessment and treatment of PTSD and has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. Her specialties include working with individuals with trauma, PTSD, anxiety disorders, interpersonal violence, and substance use disorders. In addition to providing clinical services, Dr. Flores has significant experience as a clinical supervisor for postdoctoral fellows, predoctoral interns, and graduate students completing their clinical externships. Dr. Flores has presented research on PTSD and trauma at national and international conferences, and for various media organizations. She has been involved in numerous research projects and published in the areas of evidence-based psychotherapies and massed treatment for PTSD, as well as PTSD and co-occurring substance use disorders. Dr. Flores is licensed in the states of Ohio and California to provide psychological services, and is authorized by PSYPACT to provide services in any of the 35 PSYPACT participating states.
